IPS Eris is a newly developed, low fusing layering material used with E2 lithium disilicate frameworks. This new all-ceramic material is part of the IPS Empress® system, so you know the esthetics are exceptional. The IPS Eris Dentin, Incisal, Impluse, and Transparent materials enable the fabrication of restorations that blend in with their natural environment.

The material supports the optical properties, such as translucency, brightness, and light scattering, of the completed restoration. In addition to conventional cementation, adhesive cementation (bonding) is also possible for IPS Eris restorations.

The new IPS Eris layering material offers dental professionals further enhancements to the proven IPS Empress all-ceramic system. For more than 10 years, the IPS Empress system has demonstrated an exceptional track record of form, function and esthetics. IPS Eris is indicated for anterior and posterior crowns and 3-unit bridges having one pontic and not extending past the 2nd premolar, and is available in both Chromascope and A- D shades.
